About Courchevel Ski Resort

Courchevel is one of the most glamorous ski resorts in the Alps and therefore a regular holiday destination for many celebrities. The resort of Courchevel is actually made up of 4 separate villages: Courchevel 1850, 1650, 1550 & 1300 (La Praz). The numbers relate to the height of the village in metres.

Courchevel 1850 - The village of Courchevel to be in, for big nights out. Some bars and restaurants are expensive, however it does boast some excellent Michelin star restaurants.

Courchevel 1650 - A trendy village with the number of Apres Ski bars increasing steadily over the past few years.

Courchevel 1550 & 1300 (La Praz) - A lot quieter than the higher villages, giving much more of a relaxed environment for a lovely evening out.

The Courchevel slopes offers an excellent range of skiing for all abilities - from trouble-free skiing (to get those ski legs back) to some exciting red and blacks higher up. Further a field takes you throughout the Three Valleys network where certain areas challenge even the most advanced skier.
